If I may,
I wish the top closure has build-in Velcro step and the build-in shoulder pockets are removable. That will be perfect to me.
Ps. I own a southwest 40 pack and this is on top of my next one list.

I must admit at how surprised and pleased I am with this pack. My only wish is that it had a port for a water bladder hose, but I knew it didn't when I bought it. Improvisation keeps you agile.

Hyperlite Waypoint 35 backpack
This is an amazing backpack that can be utilized for any purpose, around town, day hikes, thru-hiking etc…
The wider shoulder straps and exterior stash pockets are amazing. The fit and comfort level is also first class.As with all Hyperlite backpacks and products the quality is exceptional in every respect.
